Praise The Lord, We Have Comments!
Finally I managed to learn enough PHP script to put this into place... I haven't put it on all the articles yet but you can now leave your thoughts, questions, diatribes and insults at the following articles...

Beginner Updates
I updated skateboarding for beginners, part 1 because loads of sites around the Internet are using that article and even though I wrote it first I want to have something a bit different than them on this site. I also made the article a bit clearer in places as it was kind of rushed originally.
If you're wondering, I am also working on the long overdue part 2 right now!

Difficult Skateboarding Flip Tricks
I've updated some entries in the skateboarding tricktionary because they weren't quite accurate in their descriptions. I had previously thought that an inward kickflip and a hardflip were the same trick, but having seen some skate videos where someone actually does a proper inward kickflip I stand corrected. The same applies to inward heelflips and phobia flips.
Boomerang, Celestrial, Kasterlerial, Twisted Shuvit?
In other news, the trick I call a boomerang (ie, a shuvit with a body varial in the opposite direction) apparently has lots of other names and nobody can decide on what it should properly be called. At least I'm not alone...
I call it a boomerang because on a BMX, when you spin the bike 180° one way and jump around the other way to sit back on it, it's called a boomerang, and the shuvit with a body varial in the opposite direction is essentially the same thing, albeit with a plank of wood on wheels instead of a bike.

New Skateboard, Tensor Low Trucks, Kickflips
You might remember a while ago I mentioned the new board I was getting round to building. A couple of days ago I finally got some bolts and put it all together. As a result of which, I've been bombing up and down the road riding shiny new Tensor Low Trucks. Read the full review here.
How To Do A Kickflip?
Recently I've been getting a lot of e-mails from people trying to learn how to kickflip. I realised that although there's already a pretty extensive article on this, it's kind of buried deep in the site, so here's a nice fresh link to the learn how to kickflip article.

- Crossfoot
- Roast Beef - This is cooking downstairs right now. Who the hell named a skateboarding trick after cooked meat, and more importantly why?
- Seatbelt Air
- Backside Air
- Backside Alley-Oop
A note about your submissions : While I really appreciate them a lot, recently I've had a few from various people where I can't really understand what you're trying to explain too well. That means that I can't really put them on the site because sometimes the ones I write are bad enough, without putting up even more confusing tricks. So a little tip - write longer definitions. If you don't think you explained something very clearly then write more, because I canalways trim them down and tighten them up for publishing.
Trick Names Are Jacked - The Half Cab Fallacy
In other news I came across this article which does a great job of moaning about the gash inconsistencies in the way skateboarders use frontside and backside.
"Tricks will never, ever be renamed. I am well aware of this. I just think it'd be cool to finally acknowledge that the system is messed-up."
He's absolutely right, of course, but it's still a decent read.
