Dude! Rodney is definetly a skateboarding god! Hes been my favorite skater since i was in 5th grade and its so sick watching you at god status with your balance! The furthest I've come to balance is a 500yrds but he can easily go miles! I can almost nail that Half-Cab imbossible and i can nail lots of his flatground casper/truckstand/manual/rail etc routines. dude, hes easily the best skater ther is in the universe! (Daewon comes close, but He ais still by far the best!

Actually it's a railstand - a primo is an alternative name given to a railslide which Mullen does not do in this video.

Okay, again for whoever wasn't listening:
Going to rail (or landing to rail) means to land on the side of the board in what is called a "rail stand".
"Primo" is short for a Primoslide, which is when you slide along the floor in rail. Therefore, it is only called "primo" if you are sliding, and when you stand still, you are standing in rail.

LOL...for all of you watching Mullen the first time, he's been around since Tony was a kid in Bones Brigade early 80's. Daewon can't really compare to Mullen b/c Mullen literally invented most of the tricks that flatlanders do. If you can dig up your TWS magazines from 1993, there was a great ad spread called "The House that Rodney Built" with a list of around 20 or so tricks that he invented which include...tadaaaa: kickflip, heelflip, impossible, 360 flip, casper slide, half-flip, half-flip darkslides, to name a few.
Think about it...he invented the kickflip--don't even put Daewon in the same category, because if you're a skateboarder, you're doing tricks that he singlehandedly invented in the early 80's. He literally is the transition of oldschool to newschool.

Rodney Mullen is a genius on a skateboard. Those of you who dont know about him, you should do some research. The number of times he almost had to quit is somewhat frightening. When this video was shot, everybody was trying to get him to do street skating as apposed to freestyle because freestyle was pretty much dead at this time. What he does in this video is inspiring. 180 nosehook impossible seatbelt air. sick.
