Depending on your terminology, it was either a 360 kickback or a 360 pressure semiflip. Your choice. Oh, and Jesse has assured me he has landed them much cleaner than that since. :)

well, I can awnser your question 2 if you want. I do triple rail flips all the time and sometimes a quadruble (I got my triples perfect, but my quads are horrible). First of all: power. You just flick it harder. Secondly, (At least I do so), I flip it a bit backbard, (I the direction of your heels) In that way it "seems" to flip harder. thirdly I keep my feet very close to the board when it flips, This also makes it "seem" like it flips harder. I also keep my feet as low as possible so I can catch the board better.

also, My rail flips flip faster than the ones of Jesse. I do my triple in no time. I only know that I do a triple from experience, I know how little to flip for a single, how much for a double and I know there is nothing in between so I must do triples all the time. (The time between the flip and the landing is almost nothing)

actually the board in that video is a board by small school skateboards. (The video is old) However, I've been skating the meta:flight deck for around a year now and I love it.

Do you need a flatland board to do freestyle or can you use a street board and how do the two differ when you try to perform tricks?

No, you don't "need" a flatland board, lots of people do flatland or freestyle on a normal street setup, but also do more standard street tricks. I think it depends on where you want to take your skating. A specialist board is certainly more suited to flatland and freestyle tricks (otherwise people like Tony wouldn't be trying to produce them still) but they limit your options when skating.
